Tulips

Nothing says spring quite like tulips. Their vibrant colors and light sent remind us that flower fanatic season is upon us! Rooted in the Persian word for “turban” and resembling one, it is said the early Turks decorated their turbans with this vibrant spring bloom. A member of the lily family and native across Southern Europe into Central Asia, the simple tulip was cultivated in bulk across Europe. Colorful tulip bouquets traditionally represent the perfect love and are often celebrated in old Dutch paintings of children in big wooden shoes!
